Study AI is an independent site about using AI to learn and study — for high school and university students who want to do better work and understand more, not to cut corners. It is written for students, and it does not sell any tool.
Most advice students get about AI is one of two extremes: it's forbidden, or it's a magic button that writes your essay. Both leave you worse off — one wastes a genuinely useful study aid, the other gets you flagged for misconduct and teaches you nothing that survives an exam.
So we write the honest middle. Our guides show where AI truly helps a student — understanding tough concepts, making flashcards, planning a paper, checking your work — and exactly where the academic-integrity line is, with the steps and the caveats spelled out.
Every article carries a named byline and a date. Our contributors are tutors, teaching assistants and learning specialists across the humanities and STEM, and each guide is written by someone who teaches the subject. Naomi Foster edits the site.
The only frequently-changing data we publish is model API pricing, and we keep it in a single maintained table with a verification date and links to each provider's own pricing page. You can inspect the whole thing on the model pricing page. If the date there looks stale, treat the figures as indicative and check the provider.
Study AI is free to read and supported by display advertising served through Google Ad Manager. Advertisers have no input into what we cover or what we conclude, we do not sell placement in any guide or in the tool picker, and no article is written or amended at an advertiser's request. Our editorial standards set out how we keep that line.
